(Also, before I forget, the game seems to only be able to install to the C: drive? Or at least that's what it did for me.)Īnd not to derail the topic much more, but I gotta say, Colonies feels muuuuuuuch nicer than vanilla LP1. Just wanted to mention all this in case anyone else might be wondering about it. The only thing was that Windows 11 didn't like the game's default resolution (it kept taking the game out of focus when I tried clicking into it), so I had to go into the ini file and manually change it to 1440p beforehand. Didn't even have to do anything about SecuROM on Windows 11, which was a relief. I installed the game without issue, redeemed my key in-game without issue, and it's been smooth sailing so far. To follow up on my earlier post about Lost Planet: Colonies: I ended up buying the game off Gamesplanet, and yeah, they provide you with a download of the game as well as the key for Games for Windows Live.
